Loss and grief has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember.
After losing my mother to cancer at 14, I spent my teenage years and young adulthood connecting to others who were facing illness and loss: as a Bereavement Camp volunteer, a Senior Director of a national nonprofit for children affected by a parent's cancer, and as a manager of Patient Assistance and Affordability programs for a pharmaceutical consulting firm.
I loved my work, and I developed a reputation for taking ownership of tough situations and driving them to resolution.
Like millions of other women, I put my career on hold to care for my family when the COVID-19 pandemic hit. The following year, I lost my father suddenly to an aggressive form of Metastatic Melanoma. At 35 years old, in one of the hardest seasons of my life, I had to teach myself how to get it all done.
I learned so much the hard way, and now I'm ready to put my hard-earned knowledge to work for others.
I founded Fare Well Associates LLC in 2022 to help others prepare for and tackle all of the administrative and logistical challenges that accompany the loss of a loved one.
